Franklin Duplexes & Investment Property

City · Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

Franklin is one of Milwaukee County’s largest cities by land area and one of the few that still has room to grow. Subdivisions of newer single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes sit alongside older farmhouses and open land, and the Ballpark Commons development near 76th Street and Rawson Avenue has added apartments, dining and entertainment.

Two-family homes are less common in Franklin than in the older inner-ring suburbs, but newer side-by-side duplexes and condominium units draw tenants who want suburban schools and newer construction. Investors here often trade a lower cap rate for lower maintenance and strong long-term appreciation.
