Cudahy Duplexes & Investment Property

City · Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

Cudahy is a lakefront city just south of Milwaukee and St. Francis, founded in the 1890s by meatpacker Patrick Cudahy, whose company still operates here. Sheridan Park and the Oak Leaf Trail run along the Lake Michigan bluff, and Packard Avenue is the traditional downtown. Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is a few minutes west.

The housing stock is dominated by bungalows, Cape Cods and upper/lower duplexes built for the workers of the city’s plants, which makes Cudahy one of the most practical suburbs for a first income property. Prices are generally below the lakefront communities to the north, and tenants appreciate the short commute to downtown, the airport and the I-94 industrial corridor.
